We are thrilled to announce that as of December 2024, our school has officially joined the Yang’s Martial Arts Association (YMAA), an internationally recognized organization founded by Grandmaster Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming. This moment marks a significant milestone in our journey and aligns us with one of the most respected names in traditional Chinese martial arts and Qigong.
 

Over A Decade of Dedicated Training

My personal journey with Dr. Yang began in 2011. Since then, I have had the privilege of studying under him annually to deepen my understanding of the arts he has so meticulously preserved and shared. Over the years, I have trained in the following disciplines under his direct guidance:
 

• Yang Family Taijiquan

• Taiji Sword, Taiji Saber, and Taiji Ball

• Taiji Pushing Hands

• Taiji Fighting Set

• The full YMAA Qigong curriculum, including practices for health, vitality, and martial applications.

This training has profoundly shaped my approach to martial arts and Qigong, emphasizing the integration of body, mind, and spirit for a lifetime of health and personal growth.
 

Becoming YMAA Orange County

It is with great honor that we announce our school is now officially the YMAA Orange County branch, dedicated to upholding the traditions and high standards of YMAA. As part of this global network, we aim to provide authentic training in Yang Family Taijiquan and Qigong while fostering a supportive and inspiring community for all who wish to learn.
 

What We Offer

At YMAA Orange County, we will offer training in:

• The classical Yang Family Taijiquan system

• Advanced weapons training, including Taiji Sword, Taiji Saber and Matching Set

• Taiji Ball Qigong for coordination and internal strength

• Partner drills such as Pushing Hands and the Taiji Fighting Set

• The complete YMAA Qigong system, which harmonizes health, martial, and meditative practices

Our mission is to carry forward Dr. Yang’s teachings and offer students the opportunity to experience the depth, discipline, and transformative power of these ancient arts.
